Stroock, Allen & Overy Announce 2009 Bonuses

Law360, New York (December 18, 2009, 5:13 PM EST) -- Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP will award associates who hit a 1,900-hour threshold in 2009 with bonuses of up to $30,000, and Allen & Overy LLP will reportedly pay bonuses topping out at $32,500 for attorneys who logged 2,000 billable hours.

A Stroock representative on Friday confirmed that the firm's 2009 bonuses would be consistent with the scale set by Cravath Swaine & Moore LLP, with a presumptive threshold of 1,900 hours to qualify for consideration and extra money for associates who made “extraordinary contributions”...
