Kan. Joins EPA Suit Over Westar Emissions

Law360, New York (December 21, 2009, 2:36 PM EST) -- Stressing the dangers air pollution poses to public health, the state of Kansas has joined federal regulators in a lawsuit accusing Westar Energy Inc. of illegally boosting operations at a coal-fired plant in that state and exceeding emissions limits.
