Fuji Resolves 21 Suits Over Semiconductor Duties

Law360, New York (December 21, 2009, 3:39 PM EST) -- Fuji America Corp. has agreed to accept a refund from the U.S. government to settle 21 lawsuits that alleged the company was overcharged duties on semiconductor products in 2001 and 2002.

In a settlement agreement filed Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade, the U.S. Department of Justice said that U.S. Customs and Border Protection would refund Fuji America $199,761 in order to put the lawsuits — which cover over 200 product entries — to rest.
