Wis. Electric Co. Wins $50M For Nuclear Fuel Removal

Law360, New York (December 22, 2009, 4:37 PM EST) -- The U.S. government has been ordered in a breach of contract suit to cough up $50 million to compensate Wisconsin Electric Power Co. for delays in storing and removing spent nuclear fuel from the utility's Point Beach nuclear generating facility on the shores of Lake Michigan.
