CIT Gives Frozen Dessert New Tariff Classification

Law360, New York (December 23, 2009, 12:31 PM EST) -- A judge in the U.S. Court of International Trade has resolved a tariff classification dispute over an ice cream alternative by finding that neither the importer nor U.S. Customs and Border Protection correctly classified the product, and assigning it a new tariff subheading altogether.
