Ford Gets Injury Case Over Anti-Lock Brakes Tossed

Law360, New York (December 23, 2009, 6:27 PM EST) -- A federal judge has thrown out a case against Ford Motor Co. brought on behalf of a girl who was severely hurt when she was struck by a Ford pickup while riding her bike, saying the plaintiff offered no evidence that the alleged defect in the truck — a lack of front-wheel anti-lock brakes — caused the accident and ensuing injuries.
