Cephalon Sues Watson Over Generic Nuvigil

Law360, New York (January 6, 2010, 3:17 PM EST) -- Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc. has become the fourth generics maker hit with a patent suit by Cephalon Inc. for planning to offer a generic version of narcolepsy drug Nuvigil.

Cephalon filed suit against Watson on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, alleging that Watson's abbreviated new drug application for generic Nuvigil infringes a single Cephalon patent.
