Seiko Epson Settles With Six Firms Over Cartridges

Law360, New York (November 29, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Japan’s Seiko Epson Corp. has resolved patent infringement suits with six of 24 defendants in an international dispute over its U.S. ink cartridges.

Seiko Epson said Tuesday it has entered into settlements with three major printer manufacturers and three distributors related to a pending action in the U.S. International Trade Commission and similar lawsuits in the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.
