In late June, Florida's Special Committee to Improve the Delivery of Legal Services submitted its final report to the state Supreme Court, recommending that Florida adopt a law practice innovation laboratory program, based on the model for a regulatory sandbox currently being used in Utah.
A few days later, Michael Cherry, chair of Washington state's Practice of Law Board, met with the justices of the Washington Supreme Court to present a blueprint for a legal regulatory sandbox in the state.
