New England Utilities Lose Cert Bid In FERC Spat

Law360, New York (January 11, 2010, 7:08 PM EST) -- Echoing a federal appeals court decision, the U.S. Supreme Court has declined to review several state utilities’ challenge to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s authority over a system that sets electricity capacity and affects power prices in New England.
