Smurfit Unit's Creditors Seek Conversion To Ch. 7

Law360, New York (January 13, 2010, 6:18 PM EST) -- Creditors of a bankrupt subsidiary of Smurfit-Stone Container Enterprises Inc. are urging a court to convert the case from a Chapter 11 to a Chapter 7, saying the attorneys representing the debtors, as well as company executives, carry conflicts of interest that make a fair reorganization impossible.
