Lawyers Tapped For EPA Regions 7, 10

Law360, New York (January 14, 2010, 3:12 PM EST) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has announced the appointment of two lawyers as regional administrators for the agency's Region 7 and Region 10.

President Barack Obama on Wednesday tapped University of Kansas professor Karl Boyd Brooks to lead Region 7 and Dennis J. McLerran, executive director of the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency, to lead Region 10.

The EPA's regional directors serve as the president's representatives on the environment on a regional level.
