Union Pacific Sues San Jose Over Hazardous Waste

Law360, New York (January 19, 2010, 6:04 PM EST) -- Union Pacific Railroad Co. has accused the city of San Jose, Calif., of violating state and federal environmental laws by allowing hazardous substances from an adjacent landfill to encroach on the railroad operator’s property.
