Sanofi-Aventis Continues To Face Trouble Over Ketek

Law360, New York (December 1, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A Tennessee woman has sued Sanofi-Aventis alleging that her liver was damaged while she took the antibiotic Ketek, adding to the legal problems the company faces over the drug.

The lawsuit, filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, says that the company conducted shoddy trials, and neglected to tell the public about the drug's dangers.
