Cargill Won't Get New Trial Against Ex-Employees

Law360, New York (January 19, 2010, 7:23 PM EST) -- Food and agricultural products and services provider Cargill Inc. has lost its request for a new trial in its suit against three former employees who left and started a competing business.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on Tuesday affirmed the judgment of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.

Cargill and Can Technologies Inc. sued the former employees and their business, Progressive Dairy Solutions, in March 2007, shortly after the defendants resigned from Cargill.
