Crowley To Pay $13.8M To Exit Shipping Antitrust MDL

Law360, New York (January 20, 2010, 2:21 PM EST) -- Crowley Maritime Corp. has agreed to pay $13.75 million to resolve claims against it in the antitrust multidistrict litigation alleging the shipping company and its rivals conspired to eliminate competition in the market for freight services between the U.S. and Puerto Rico, according to attorneys for the plaintiffs.
