Nipro Issues Recall Of Insulin Syringes Sold In US

Law360, New York (January 22, 2010, 5:35 PM EST) -- Global medical supplies company Nipro Medical Corp. has initiated a nationwide recall of all GlucoPro insulin syringes over fears of needle detachment, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Consumers who have GlucoPro syringes should stop using and return them to point of sale for reimbursement, the Miami-based company, a subsidiary of Osaka, Japan-based Nipro Corp., said Thursday.
