11th Circ. Sides With AIG In $5M Fraud Loss Suit

Law360, New York (January 25, 2010, 11:25 AM EST) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed a grant of summary judgment in favor of an American International Group Inc. unit, finding that the insurer did not act in bad faith when it refused to pay a $55,310 judgment to Heritage Corp. of South Florida after the company alleged losses over $5 million.
