6th Circ. Revives Whirlpool Racial Harassment Claims

Law360, New York (January 27, 2010, 3:46 PM EST) -- Three black former Whirlpool Corp. employees who allege they were subjected to racial harassment at the appliance giant's LaVergne, Tenn., facility raised genuine questions of fact, a federal appeals court has ruled, reversing rulings of summary judgment in the six-year-old case.
