Trustee Slams WaMu Investor's Committee Request

Law360, New York (January 27, 2010, 4:25 PM EST) -- The U.S. trustee in Washington Mutual Inc.'s bankruptcy has objected to Black Horse Capital Management LLC's request to reconstitute a committee of equity holders by making it include only preferred stock holders, noting that many of the members already hold preferred shares.

Acting U.S. Trustee Roberta A. DeAngelis filed an objection Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware in response to Black Horse's motion requesting that the court reform the committee by including only certain preferred stock holders.
