Autoliv Buys Delphi's Asian Assets

Law360, New York (January 28, 2010, 6:32 PM EST) -- Swedish company Autoliv Inc. has agreed to purchase all of Delphi Automotive LLP's automotive safety assets in Asia for an undisclosed amount of money.

Autoliv, which develops and manufactures automotive safety systems, will acquire Delphi's Occupant Protection Systems operations in Korea and China, including intellectual property and physical assets, and will take on 600 employees.

The deal is expected to close by the end of March, and is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
