Obama, EU Pledge To Cut Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Law360, New York (January 29, 2010, 5:42 PM EST) -- On the heels of the recent climate talks in Copenhagen, President Barack Obama has pledged to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 17 percent from 2005 levels by the end of the decade, while the European Commission has pledged to cut its emissions by 20 percent from 1990 levels.
