TimeWick Infringes Patented Rubbermaid Device: Suit

Law360, New York (February 2, 2010, 1:46 PM EST) -- Rubbermaid Commercial Products LLC has sued the maker of time-release commercial air freshener TimeWick, claiming the product infringes a patent licensed exclusively to Rubbermaid.

The complaint, filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia, accuses Waterbury Cos. Inc. of infringing U.S. Patent Number 6,419,163, which covers a device that releases volatile substances — such as a fragrance — into the air.
