Merge Wants Ex-Execs To Pay Back Defense Fees

Law360, New York (February 2, 2010, 12:57 PM EST) -- Merge Healthcare Inc. has filed a suit against two of its former officers in an attempt to recoup nearly $880,000 the medical imaging company spent to defend the duo in a series of securities fraud actions.

In a lawsuit filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Merge said that it is not required to indemnify former President and CEO Richard A. Linden and former Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer Scott T. Veech for defense costs stemming from those cases...
