Cardiologists Hit HCA With Suit Over Suspensions

Law360, New York (December 8, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A group of nine cardiologists has slapped HCA Inc. with a lawsuit, accusing the nation's largest hospital chain of damaging their reputation by suspending them from performing angioplasties at a Florida medical center.

The suits were filed in a Florida circuit court on Wednesday, with the doctors alleging that HCA Inc. has injured their reputation by banning them from performing the heart procedures at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point for the last two years.
