Pfizer Sues Mylan To Block Generic Caduet

Law360, New York (February 4, 2010, 1:34 PM EST) -- Pfizer Inc. has sued Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. over the generics maker's application to manufacture its own version of combination blood pressure and cholesterol treatment Caduet.

In a complaint lodged in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, Pfizer claims Mylan has infringed a patents for the drug by filing an abbreviated new drug application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
