Pfizer, Sandoz Patent Spat Over Caduet Heads To Del.

Law360, New York (February 10, 2010, 1:48 PM EST) -- Pfizer Inc. has won its bid to transfer to Delaware federal court a patent infringement case over Sandoz Inc.'s abbreviated new drug application to manufacture a generic version of blood pressure and cholesterol reducer Caduet.

Judge Christine Arguello of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado on Monday granted Pfizer's motion to transfer its Colorado suit against Sandoz to the District of Delaware, where a similar suit between the two companies is pending.
