Attys Can’t Ditch Broke Lawyer’s Fraud Defense: Judge

Law360, New York (February 11, 2010, 7:08 PM EST) -- A federal court on Thursday denied a bid by attorneys for an Oklahoma lawyer facing criminal fraud and money laundering charges to withdraw from the case, saying the client's inability to pay legal fees isn't enough to warrant jumping ship.
