Importer Appeals CIT's Wall Panel Classification

Law360, New York (February 16, 2010, 6:32 PM EST) -- Down but not yet out, StoreWall LLC turned to a federal appeals court after the U.S. Court of International Trade rejected the importer’s claim that U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials improperly classified its wall panels and hanging tabs, imposing inappropriate duties.

StoreWall, which markets interlocking wall segments, lodged an appeal Monday with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, challenging CIT’s December grant of summary judgment to Customs.
