Imation, Philips Settle Data Storage Patent Suit

Law360, New York (February 16, 2010, 6:06 PM EST) -- Imation Corp. and Koninklijke Philips Electronics NV have settled a dispute over a patent license agreement related to information storage and retrieval technology.

Judge Donovan W. Frank of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota on Tuesday approved a consent judgment between the two companies dismissing all claims between them with prejudice, pursuant to a confidential settlement.
