SC County Fights To Avoid Landfill Tab In CERCLA Suit

Law360, New York (February 22, 2010, 2:18 PM EST) -- A South Carolina county has asked to intervene in a Superfund case against Schlumberger Technology Corp., saying it needs to protect its residents from assuming financial responsibility for the maintenance of a sediment disposal site to be built as part of a settlement in the litigation.
