FDA Calls GSK's Avandia Safe Amid Public Concerns

Law360, New York (February 23, 2010, 2:13 PM EST) -- On the heels of senators blasting the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its purportedly lax regulation of the GlaxoSmithKline PLC drug Avandia, the agency has published a safety announcement telling consumers they should not stop taking the diabetes medication.
