Feds Win First Economic Espionage Case

Law360, New York (December 15, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Two men arrested while trying to board an aircraft bound for China with stolen trade secrets in their luggage pled guilty Thursday to two counts each of economic espionage, marking the first time someone has been convicted on the charge.

Fei Ye and Ming Zhong are scheduled to be sentenced in April in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
