Suzuki, Nissan, Daihatsu Recall Cars In Japan

Law360, New York (February 25, 2010, 5:17 PM EST) -- Three Japanese automakers have reportedly announced recalls for various possible defects that will affect more than 570,000 cars, mostly in Japan.

Suzuki Motor said it will recall more than 432,000 units of two minicar models in Japan after air conditioner defects caused a pair of fires, while Nissan Motor Co. plans to recall about 76,400 cars across 10 models in Japan and 2,281 vehicles overseas, citing a possible defect leading to engine failure, Reuters reported Thursday.
