Ex-Citigroup Broker Wins $3.57M In Arbitration

Law360 (December 15, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A former Citigroup Global Markets Inc. stockbroker who accused the company of unjustly firing him has been awarded over $3.57 million by a National Association of Securities Dealers arbitration panel.

Juan Miguel Garcia, who worked for Citigroup for 10 years, filed a statement of claim with the NASD against the financial services company in June 2005 after he was “abruptly fired without cause” in 2004, according to Garcia.
