In-House Attys Flex Might In 2010: Survey

Law360, New York (March 1, 2010, 7:19 PM EST) -- Despite feeling more pressed, in-house counsel remain overwhelmingly happy in their jobs, sanguine about expanding in-house duties and eager to continue fashioning alternative fee arrangements when dealing with outside counsel, according to a new survey by the Association of Corporate Counsel.

The ACC announced the results of its 10th annual chief legal officer survey Monday, depicting a buoyant in-house sector that foresees a greater emphasis on internal hiring in 2010 as well as the opportunity to move away from the reliance on the billable hour....
