Va. Supreme Court Justice Named To 4th Circ.

Law360, New York (March 2, 2010, 7:08 PM EST) -- The U.S. Senate has unanimously voted to confirm Justice Barbara Milano Keenan of the Virginia Supreme Court to fill a vacancy on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

The Senate voted 99-0 Tuesday to confirm Keenan, 59, who was appointed by President Barack Obama in September. She has served on Virginia's high court since 1991 and was the first person to serve at all levels of the state's judicial system.
