Benesch Friedlander Merges With Indianapolis Firm

Law360, New York (March 3, 2010, 6:31 PM EST) -- Cleveland-based Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff LLP has merged with Dann Pecar Newman & Kleiman PC in Indianapolis, expanding Benesch's Midwest reach and boosting core practice areas.

In an announcement Tuesday the firms said the merger would strengthen several core practice areas, particularly real estate, commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and their transportation/logistics and construction industry groups.

“Both of our firms have long-lasting relationships with our clients, including in the real estate area as well as other sectors,” said Ira Kaplan, Benesch's managing partner.
