Colo. Residents Sue Over Salmonella-Tainted Water

Law360, New York (March 3, 2010, 1:47 PM EST) -- Twenty-nine families have hit the city of Alamosa, Colo., with a negligence and strict product liability lawsuit over a salmonella outbreak caused by a contamination in the town's water supply that sickened as many as 1,300 residents and resulted in one death.

The plaintiffs filed a complaint Monday in the District Court for the County of Alamosa over the 2008 salmonella outbreak.
