International IP Treaty Won't Affect US Law: Kirk

Law360, New York (March 3, 2010, 5:14 PM EST) -- U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk has said that a multinational treaty on intellectual property rights won't alter U.S. law, in response to concerns from Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., about “secret negotiations” over the anti-counterfeiting agreement.

On Tuesday, Wyden posted on his Web site Kirk's Jan. 28 response to a series of questions about the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement.
