Skadden Raids Cooley's IP Practice Chair For Palo Alto Office

Law360, New York (June 2, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The chair of Cooley Godward's intellectual property practice group has jumped ship to Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, bringing two partners with him to build up Skadden’s high-tech practice in Palo Alto.

Jeffrey Randall, who will be moving to the new turf along with his fellow Cooley partner Chuck Ebertin, is expected to work on developing relationships with high-tech clients in the Silicon Valley area.

Some of Randall’s clients at Cooley include Qualcomm, Sun Microsystems, Applied Materials and eBay.
