ITC Votes To Review Furniture, Crepe Paper Duties

Law360, New York (March 9, 2010, 3:17 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has voted to conduct a full sunset review of the anti-dumping duty order on wooden bedroom furniture from China and to expedite a similar review of crepe paper imports to determine if the tariffs should remain in place.

After reviewing the responses from domestic and Chinese producers, the ITC announced Monday that the duties on bedroom furniture warranted a full review, including a public hearing and questionnaires, while the review for the crepe duties would be less intensive.
