White House Nominates LaFleur For FERC Vacancy

Law360, New York (March 9, 2010, 12:57 PM EST) -- President Barack Obama has nominated former National Grid USA acting CEO Cheryl LaFleur to fill a vacancy on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, as well as seeking a second term for current FERC commissioner and Bush appointee Philip D. Moeller.

The White House sent the two nominations to the U.S. Senate on Monday. If confirmed, LaFleur will fill the final remaining vacancy on the five-member board.
