Presstek Settles SEC Fair Disclosure Investigation

Law360, New York (March 9, 2010, 7:05 PM EST) -- Laser printing technology company Presstek Inc. says it has reached a $400,000 deal with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to end an investigation into a former executive’s alleged early release of financial information in 2006.

The company has been working with the SEC to settle the case and had previously reserved the amount of the civil penalty on its financial statements in the third quarter of 2009, it said in an announcing the deal Tuesday.
