General Medicine Tries Again For $376M Judgment

Law360, New York (March 10, 2010, 3:56 PM EST) -- Geriatric medical services company General Medicine PC has lodged a notice of appeal in another attempt to reinstate a $376 million consent judgment it entered into with a former subsidiary of HealthSouth Corp.

The appeal, filed Tuesday, will move the long-running breach of contract case from the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
