Amazon, Others Seek To Nix 337 Probe Over Stools

Law360, New York (March 15, 2010, 3:12 PM EDT) -- Inc., Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. and several other companies have asked the U.S. International Trade Commission to terminate an investigation into their alleged infringement of a step stool design patent, arguing that the patent-in-suit is invalid due to obviousness.

The respondents lodged their answers Thursday and Friday to an amended complaint filed by B&R Plastics Inc., which licenses the patent.
