Travelers, Slugger Will Split Defense Tab: 6th Circ.

Law360, New York (March 12, 2010, 5:25 PM EST) -- A federal appeals court has refused to let Louisville Slugger maker Hillerich & Bradsby Co. Inc. or its insurer Travelers Property Casualty Co. off the hook in a complicated battle over who should pay Hillerich's legal bills and settlement costs stemming from an antitrust lawsuit.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit ruled Friday that Hillerich should have reimbursed Travelers for settlement costs related to the antitrust litigation and Travelers should have started paying for Hillerich's defense costs far earlier in the antitrust litigation...
