Legislation To Watch In 2007

Law360 (December 21, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Legislators returning to Capitol Hill for the 110th Congress will have a full menu of proposed intellectual property bills to tackle over the next year, including the evergreen Patent Reform Act and a revamped bill to overhaul the Copyright Act.

Much of the legislation pinpoints areas of interest to the pharmaceutical and entertainment industries, but the Patent Reform Act of 2006, stalled since it was introduced in 2005, is once again poised to offer the most dramatic changes overall.
