Tough Times Ahead For Auto, Home Sectors: Poll

Law360, New York (December 22, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- The automotive and homebuilder industries top the list of sectors most likely to face a wave of financial and operational woes that could lead to bankruptcy filings in 2007, according to an annual poll.

Seventy-four percent of respondents to the Turnaround Management Association’s annual poll identified the automotive arena as the most distressed industry—the same industry that topped last year’s poll. The homebuilder sector ended up in second place, capturing 58% of the responses.
