Supreme Court Mulls Review Of Case On Antitrust Law In Drug Patent Settlements

Law360 (June 4, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a closely watched controversy over patent settlements and antitrust law, drug makers Abbott Laboratories and Sandoz have urged the Supreme Court not to review a ruling that upholds the right of drug originators to pay generic firms to stay off the market.

The Supreme Court has scheduled a June 17 conference to determine if it should review the ruling.
